This questionnaire was developed by the condominium corporation, Number One York Quay and presented to Archdesign Group Limited to assess the level of quality and workmanship that was performed on their pipe lining project for the Toronto Community Housing Corporation.

  1. How old is your building?
    Building was approximately 25 to 30 years old at the time.
  2. How many years ago was your piping corrected by RIKOS?
    First phase in 2001, second phase in 2003.
  3. Did you re-line all the hot water piping or only problematic sections?
    At the end of the second phase, all hot water pipes were re-lined.
  4. Have you found that the RIKOS pipe lining solution has resolved your plumbing problem?
    Yes
  5. Have any plumbing problems arisen since your pipe lining project was completed?
    No
  6. Was your project completed within the projected time line?
    Yes
  7. Was your project completed as per quotation, or were there additional costs that were added mid-project for unforeseen reasons?
    Project was completed as quoted.
  8. If there were added unexpected costs or time delays, what caused the time delay or added costs?
    No delays were experienced.
  9. Are you satisfied that the piping solution has resolved your pinhole leak and other plumbing problems? Are you satisfied with the end result?
    Yes, re-lining resolved the problems.
  10. Was it easy to work with RIKOS? Did they respond to your needs in a timely and professional manner when you called them?
    Yes, RIKOS was very responsive.
  11. How much disruption did your project create for your residents?
    Disruption was minimal, both in access to pipes in apartments and hot water down time.
  12. How would you rate RIKOS on a scale from 1 to 10, (10 being excellent)? Do you recommend RIKOS and their plumbing solutions to other?
    Rated 10. We would recommend RIKOS for similar jobs.
  13. Have there been any warranty issues following the completion of you project? If so, were you happy with the response and follow up by RIKOS? Were your issues resolved in a timely manner?
    There were no warranty issues.
  14. Do you have any additional comments or recommendations that you feel may help us in our decision to use RIKOS and their recommended solutions?
    Re-lining work is much less disruptive and significantly cheaper than pipe replacement. RIKOS appears to be very experienced in this type of work.
